We eagerly invite you to join a group at Faith Covenant. We have Sunday Morning Bible Study Groups that meet on campus at 9:00 AM, we have HOME Groups that meet in homes during the evenings different days of the week, and our FCC Women have Bible Study groups that meet at different times of the year. A group is the best way to experience personal spiritual growth and become connected to our church family.
We strongly believe God designed us to live out our lives together in community. Growing as a follower of Christ is a lifelong process that is designed to occur with others. In the very first church, in the book of Acts, the Bible tells us that the very first Christians, "devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer...they broke bread in their homes and ate together..." This model of church life is simple, but profoundly life changing. Jesus promised his followers that anytime two or more of us gather in his name that he is there among us. Followers of Christ gathering in groups is powerful.
The key word here is "educational". Our goal with SMBS is to dig deeply into the Bible and teach it to the people who attend. A Sunday Morning Bible Study has more of a discussion oriented classroom feel. We have three groups for adults, two for students, and three for our children.
The key word here is "relational." Our goal with HOME groups is to build strong friendships with one another through Biblical fellowship. A HOME Group has more of a relational small group feel. These groups eat together, spend time just talking, and engage in discussion around Bible study materials. We have five groups for adults. Child care is arranged by the groups that need it.
If you would like to begin the process of joining a group, just fill out the information below and one of our group leaders will be in touch with you. Thank you for thinking about a group at FCC!
